michael_alperDr. Michael M. Alper is the Medical Director at Boston IVF, which has one of the nation's largest and most experienced groups of reproductive endocrinologists. Dr. Alper completed his undergraduate and medical school training at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After completing his internship at the University of Toronto, he pursued his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA. After completing OBGYN specialty training, Dr. Alper completed two years of research at the University of Ottawa followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Alper is on staff at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is an Associate Clinical Professor of OBGYN and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. He co-founded Boston IVF in 1986 and serves as the Medical Director offering clinical and executive leadership. Dr Alper has authored several textbooks and many articles in peer-reviewed publications.  He has lectured extensively on many a reas of reproductive medicine;  his focus is on the integration of technology, patient service and quality care.
