For more than 25 years, Dr. Matan Yemini has focused his interest, practice, and research on the spectrum of issues associated with reproductive endocrinology and infertility treatment.
A 1978 graduate of Jerusalem's Hadassah Hebrew University School of Medicine, Dr. Yemini completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Kaplan University Hospital in Rehovot, Israel, obtaining his board certification in 1986. Dr. Yemini trained in reproductive endocrinology at Kaplan Medical Center's Division of Reproductive Medicine and conducted his basic research at the Weitzman Institute for Science. He performed an infertility fellowship at Tel Aviv's Shiba Medical Center and later developed and directed Kaplan University Hospital’s IVF clinical and training program. He served as a senior physician in the Division of Reproductive Medicine there until 1987, when he joined the University of Miami School of Medicine as director of the IVF
laboratory.
Dr. Yemini joined Diamond Institute in 1989 with the task of further developing the Institute's advanced reproductive technology program. He became owner and co-director of the Institute as of 1992. He has published extensively and lectured on human reproduction to the medical community and to the public at national and international conferences and workshops. He holds licenses in New Jersey, Bermuda, Israel, and memberships in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, formerly the American Fertility Society.
