Aim of the study:
This study aims at assessing various ovarian stimulation protocol for oocytes/embryos cryopreservation prior to chemotherapy or radiotherapy in women with malignant disease with regards of the number of oocytes retrieved

Study design:
Prospective, multicentric, multinational, non-interventional, observational cohort study

Countries and number of centres:
Approximately 100 IVF centres in seven European countries (France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, The Netherland and United Kingdom).

Study population: N=500
Patients (18-44 years old) with malignant disease, referred to by their oncologists for oocytes/embryos cryopreservation prior to cancer treatment, undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation by r-hFSH

Treatment:

  • All validated ovarian stimulation protocols for superovulation can be used during the study as long as the products involved in this protocol are used according to their SmPC.
  • In order to avoid for an additional variable, only r-hFSH is permitted during the study (i.e. Bemfola, Gonal-f, Ovaleap or Puregon).
  • Treatment will be obtained the way they are generally obtained in the country where the study takes place.
