Fertility preservation

Ttreatment with chemotherapy may lead to the loss of the function of reproductive organs, premature ovarian failure or an inability to produce mature eggs for ovulation. It is difficult to reliably predict post treatment ovarian reserve and there are no reliable incidence figures for infertility following cancer treatment.

The aim of this study is to develop a better understanding of physicians’ knowledge of and attitudes towards fertility preservation for cancer patients. This information will be advertised and published to help the fertility treatment providers and oncologists in developing optimized fertility preservation care and strategies.
